About Bright Dental

One might say that Dr. Allen Daniels picked up a variety of experiences on his way to practicing Dentistry in Bright, Indiana. As a graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry he entered the United States Air Force and served his country on active duty for four years and added two more in the ready reserves.

While he was an Air Force dentist he was lucky enough to have experienced rotations in three specialty areas at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, one of the largest medical centers in the Air Force. These were Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Oral Surgery. He was also privileged to be chosen to complete training in Periodontics while on duty at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. There he received certification in IV Sedation while completing the Periodontal Surgical course.

Dr. Daniels found through his years of general practice that his preference is oriented toward treating the entire family, while particularly enjoying his work with children. He has long done orthodontic treatment and continues to increase his education in that area through advanced studies so that he can make smile creation through straightening teeth a larger part of his practice. He enjoys creating smiles through cosmetic dentistry in people of all ages and will continue to provide a full range of services.

Another area in which Dr. Daniels feels he can help his patients is in Endodontics. The more recent advances in Nickel-Titanium file construction and automated rotary technique have allowed Dr. Daniels and Dentists like himself to do root canal therapy in a more efficient manner, a fact not lost on patients undergoing such treatment.

Prior to establishing his office in Bright, Dr. Daniels provided dental care to underprivileged children for five years in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee while in charge of a non-profit clinic. He continues to treat children and finds it fun and rewarding.

The office, located at 24173 Stateline Road is a state-of-the-art facility featuring beautiful stone work and indirect lighting to help reduce the stress that can sometimes be associated with dental treatment. These things, in conjunction with lasers and lower-dose all-digital x-ray are intended to make the dental experience more enjoyable for patients of all ages. Dr. Daniels intends to practice his craft in Bright for the rest of his career and would like to extend an invitation to any who might wish to visit his facility.

Dawn, Office Manager

I became the office manager with Bright Dental in August 2011, bringing with me ten years of experience within the dental industry. I am here to help our patients complete their treatment, designing a treatment plan recommended by Dr. Daniels that will restore their oral health, reviewing treatment options and answering patient questions. I am always eager to assist our patients with any insurance questions they may have, as well as answering all their financial and billing questions. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my two sons, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends.

Meghan, Ortho Assistant

I have been in the dental field since January 2008, and have been with Bright Dental since May 2011, as the orthodontic assistant. My job is very rewarding, and I take a lot of pride in making a difference in our patient's smiles. In my free time, I like to go shopping and hang out with my friends and family.

I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, as well as a Certified Dental Assistant at Bright Dental since January, 2011. I graduated from International Business College with an Associate Degree in December, 2010. I decided to move back to the area where I grew up to stay close to my family and fiancè. I find my job very rewarding, as I am able to help people feel better about themselves by helping them improve their smiles. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and fiancè.

Audra, Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Shawnee State University in Ohio in 1991. I have worked in the private practice field for over 20 years now. I have been with Bright Dental since March 2010. My family and I have lived in Bright, Indiana for 17 years now, and my husband and I have two sons. In our spare time, I enjoy going to Boot camp at Nishime Karate and going to my sons' sporting events.

Johnnie, Dental Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist for seven years, graduating from Raymond Walters College in May 2005. I have been with Bright Dental since March 2011. I enjoy meeting new patients and helping them improve their smile. Prior to my dental hygiene career, I was a credit manager for 17 years. When I’m not caring for my patients, I enjoy hiking, power walking, gardening, quilting, and most of all, having fun with my family and friends.

Jamie, Patient/Scheduling Coordinator

I joined the team of Bright Dental in the spring of 2012, as the scheduling/patient coordinator, providing our patients with outstanding customer service that meets every patient’s need. I brought along with me talents and experience coordinating and advising students. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Stephen, and our daughter, Ellie. We enjoy spending family time together and entertaining Ellie either at the local park, zoo or watching movies. Stephen and I are active members at Church on Fire Ministries located in Harrison, Ohio for four years, where we volunteer as church security
and nursery coordinator. We enjoy and have a passion for serving ones in our community.
